Doris Imogene Wells, 98, of Lewisburg, died on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.
She was born Friday, July 4, 1919 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Turner Barton and the late Aubrey Green Barton. She was the wife of the late Walker Wells.
She was a homemaker and a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Howard Barton, Lyle Barton, Glyn Barton, Dale Barton, J.P. Barton, Larry Barton and Billy Barton; her sisters, Helen Wells and Myra Well; and her half-brother, Clyde Barton.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Green Ridge Baptist Church located at 7359 Highland Lick Road Lewisburg. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery,
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, and again after 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
