Naomi J. Wilkins, 78, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab in Franklin. She was a Logan County native, born Aug. 27, 1939 to the late J.T. Chapman and Florene Knight Chapman. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, David Maurice Wilkins of Virginia and Thomas Mark Wilkins and wife Darice of Texas; her brother, Kenny Chapman and wife Linda of Russellville; her sister, Elizabeth Arline Chapman of Russellville; and a grandchild and a step-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Jeffery Wilkins.
Funeral Services for Naomi J. Wilkins will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Summers, Kirby and Sander Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Ball officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
