Merley "Bobby" Grise, 91, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Colonial Center in Bowling Green.
She was born Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1925 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Claude Penrod and the late Lettie Gaston Penrod. She was the wife of the late Dee Grise.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Grise of Lewisburg, Dee Allen Grise of Russellville and Randy Grise of Lewisburg; her daughters, JoAnn Rives of Lewisburg, Hattie Goodman of Lewisburg, Dian Sears of Alvaton and Jane Sullivan of Rockfield; her sister, Margie Cook of Evansville, Ind.; 20 grandchildre and 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Rock Springs Baptist Church located at Beechland Road, Lewisburg, with Dr. Lloyd Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Rock Springs Cemetery, Butler County.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
