Marcus Brent Staples, 46, of Franklin, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born Wednesday, March 3, 1971 in Bowling Green, the son of Harold Staples and Patty Kitchens Staples of Dunmor. He was the husband of Dayna Abbott Staples of Franklin.
He was employed by TSC in Franklin and attended Dunmor Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his son, Marcus Brent Staples II of Portland; his step-daughter, Kennedy Hadden of Adairville; his brothers, Dwayne Staples of Powderly and Ricky Staples of Hodgenville; his sisters, Darlene Staples of Russellville and Debbie Staples of Elkton; his grandchildren, Marcus Brent Staples III and Lorelai Annabellea Staples, both of Franklin; his special nephew, Kaleb Staples of Central City; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, at Price Funeral Home.
