Bonnie Jean Thomas, 84, of Russellville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at Med Center Health in Russellville.
She was born Friday, Jan. 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Ben Mitchell O'Neal and the late Lorene Adler O'Neal. She was the wife of Kenneth Thomas of Russellville. who survives. Bonnie and Kenneth had a loving and caring relationship. They were married for 60 years.
Bonnie was the owner and operator of Lil-Folk Daycare for over 25 years. Bonnie had a special place in her heart for family and the kids she cared for. She enjoyed spending days outside bird watching. Bonnie was also a proud member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church in Lewisburg.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie is survived by here son, Allen (Cindy) Thomas of Russellville and her grandson, Nicholas Thomas of Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne O'Neal.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Jeremy Brooks and Dr. Chris Vaught officiating. Interment will be in Head Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 28, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and again from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
Pallbearers for the service will be Nicholas Thomas, Steve Hardison, David Hardison, Chad Hardison, Matt Richmond, and Wendell McGhee.
