Jeffery Cross, 61, of Rex, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at his residence. He was the son of the late James Cross and Annie Ligon.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Cherry Cross; his children; Chrystella Suckie, Nasanya Rankine and Sharmar Rankine; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Curry, Makonnen Curry, Arielle Williams, Leilani Vassell and Sharmar Rankine Jr.; his siblings, Robert Lee Ligon, Carl Russell Ligon, T.C. Cross, Charlie Cross, Victor Cross, Donald Cross and Dorothy Johnson, his nieces, Nina, Mackinizi, Evelyn, Robin, Scherita, Athena and Diana; his nephews, Josh, Marcus, Charles, Demetrius, Dalton, Jimmie, David, Daniel and Jeremy; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Allensville from 11 a.m. to 1pm with funeral at 1 p.m. and burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
