Tommye Jean Brown, formerly of Lewisburg, 84, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.

Born on December 8, 1941, in Cleveland, Tennessee, Tommye Jean lived a life defined by love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and caring spirit, leaving behind memories that will be treasured for generations.

Tommye Jean was a faithful and active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lewisburg, where she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving alongside her church family. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, William Thomas "Bill" Brown.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Amelia Evans and husband Daniel of Knoxville, and their two sons, Luke and Andrew Evans; her son, Scott Brown and wife Beth of Hopkinsville and their son, Lucas Brockwell; and her two sisters, Betty Hardee and Phyllis Sims.

Tommye Jean's greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her loving heart, steadfast faith, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life service will be held Aug. 8, at Mt Pleasant Baptist church, 954 Stacker St in Lewisburg from 9:30-11 with a service to begin at 11:00.

Her family would like in leu of flowers for donations to he made to hospice.  

Price Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
