Walter Daniel “Danny” Hankins, 74, of Russellville, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Lebanon, Tenn. He was born April 12, 1952 to the late Walter Columbus Hankins and Ruth Ellen Hankins. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Ricky Hankins.
Danny was a member of 431 Church in Springfield. He loved to fish and his family.
He is survived by his children, Danielle Hill of Springhill, Tenn, Stacey Hankins of Lebanon, his., Timothy Hankins of Nashville, and Tonya Holland of Springfield; his siblings, Roger Hankins of Adairville, Jeff Hankins of Keysburg, Tom Hankins of Key West, Fla,, and Sherry Hankins of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his grandchildren, Carolyn Fowler, Brylee Wardlaw, Alexis Wardlaw, Harper Allison, Jesse Holland, Hannah Hankins, and Hunter Hankins; and his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.ml in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Brother Tony Stratton officiating at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville.
