Don Harper, 72, of Dunmor, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was born Monday, April 5, 1954, the son of the late Carlie Harper and the late Fannie Gibson Harper. He was the husband of the late Deborah Miller Harper.
He was a plumber at Napier Plumbing for many years and was a member of Dunmor Baptist Church. He was also a member of Hazel Creek Masonic Lodge #842 F&AM.
Surviving are his daughter, Shelley (Mark) Houchins of Russellville; his granddaughter, Carlee (Ben) Sickler of Greenville; his grandsons, Hunter (Bethany) Milligan of Decherd, Tenn. and Ivan Houchins of Jacksonville, Fla.; his great-granddaughters, Amelia Seiler of Middleburg, Fla., Harper Milligan of Decherd and Adelaide Sickler of Greenville, KY; three great grandsons, Joseph Milligan of Decherd, Orion Milligan of Decherd, and Joyner Sickler of Greenville; and his sister, Anita Gardner of Dunmor,.
In addition to his parents and wife, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Joy Hayes; and his brothers, Weldon Wade Harper, Murl Harper, and Ellis Neal "Hop" Harper.
A Celebration of Life will be from 3 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 30, at the home of Shelley and Mark Houchins, located at 131 Windhaven Street, Russellville.
