Ronnie Neal Stearsman 84, of Russellville passed away on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born on April 12, 1941, to the late Wallace Earl and Mary Wessie Stearsman. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Alexa Stearsman, two sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife Evelda Stearsman of Russellville; his daughter Carrie Stearsman of Hendersonville; his sons, Darin Stearsman (Juliana) of Lakeland, Tenn. and Tim Stearsman (Tammy) of Radcliff; his brother, Kent Stearsman (Linda) of Henderson; his sister, Kaye Simmons (Bill) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Brandon Stearsman Samantha) of Russellville, Cassie Stearsman of Radcliff, and Anna Stearsman, Lara Stearsman and Olivia Stearsman, all of Lakeland, Tenn.; and his great-grandchildren, Topher and Atticus Stearsman.
Ronnie was a teacher for over 20 years, a U.S. AirForce Veteran, and a member of the Fellowship Church of Christ in Russellville. He loved his family. He also was a board member of the Logan County Democratic Party.
Visitation will be next Saturday, Jan. 24, in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a celebration of life at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Martin and Bro. Danny Williams officiating. Burial with Military honors will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
