Christopher Len “Papa” Hampton, 63, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026 at the Medical Center Russellville. He was born in Russellville on Feb. 9, 1962, to the late Jimmie Lee Hampton Sr. and Marie Sweatt Hampton. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and was of the Christian faith. He worked at Carpenter Co. and Logan Aluminum.
He is survived by his son, Chritopher Lynn Hampton II of Russellville; his daughters, Kristy Danielle Caldwell and Dwayne of Oak Grove, and LeChrissa Gayle Hampton and Tierra Lyshon Hampton, both of Russellville; his brothers, Jimmie Lee Hampton and Melodye of Nashville and Wayne Hampton and Stephanie and Charles Hampton and Lisa, all of Bowling Green; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Christopher Len “Papa” Hampton will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Jimmie Hampton officiating with burial to follow in Russellville’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
