Jane Jolene Thompson, 68, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at her home. She was born in Park Rapids, Minn. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 1957, the daughter of the late William Thompson and the late Margaret Luft Thompson.
She was a homemaker and attended Tabernacle Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Lewisburg. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother who loved the Lord and was proud of her faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Chute of Lewisburg; her grandsons, Stuart (Riley) Russell of Bowling Green and Greyson Chute of Lewisburg; her great-granddaughter on the way, Charlee Novela Russell of Bowling Green; her brothers, Charlie Thompson of Walker, Minn. and Richard Brite of Florida; and her sisters, Linda Smith of Walker, Minn. and Marlys Lenarz of Royalton, Minn.
Cremation was chosen with services to take place at the family plot in Akeley, Minn. at a later date.
