Joanne Markham, 84, of Russellville, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Hopkins Nursing and Rehab Center in Woodburn. She was born in Russellville on Feb. 9, 1941 to the late Hugh Markham Jr., and Katherine Herndon Markham. She was a Research Associate Professional of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis and was a member of the United Methodist Temple.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Gibbs.
She is survived by her sister, Gayle Goley of Russellville and her three nieces and three nephews.
The family of Joanne Markham chose cremation and there will be a private Celebration of Life at a later time. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
