Mona Knight, 92, of Russellville, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Russellville on April 9, 1933 to the late Nolan Nash and Gussie Crawford Nash. She worked for Rockwell for 27 years. She was a member of the Epley Baptist Church, where she was active in VBS and serving on the food committee for many years. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Knight; her brothers, Wayne Nash, Morris Nash and JT Nash; and her sisters, Frances Taylor and Nancy Howard.
She is survived by her son, Stanley Knight and wife Ursula of Russellville; her step granddaughters, Erica Meguiar of Louisville and Jessie Creech and husband John of Russellville; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mona Knight will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 30, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Vaught and Bro. Brent Johnson officiating with burial to follow in Jarrett Cemetery. Visitation on Monday at the funeral home will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
