Lawrence “Larry” Johnson, 90, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home. He was born in Readstown, Wisc., on March 9, 1935, to the late Arnold Johnson and Opal VanFleet Johnson. He was a U.S. AirForce Veteran, was a farmer, worked for Pepsi out of La Crosse, Wisc. He has worked at Wal-Mart and was a member of the United Methodist Temple. He enjoyed reading, gardening and working outside.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon Johnson; his sons, Robert Johnson and wife Sandy of Sauk City, Wisc., Kevin Johnson and wife Valerie of Seattle, and Jeffrey Johnson and wife Cara of Richland Center, Wisc.; his daughter, Jacqueline Pysarenko and husband Marc ~ Hillsboro, Wisc.; his brother, Ronald Johnson and wife Millie of Viola, Wisc.; his 10 grandchildren, Corrie, Becki, Jeremy, Katie, Kristin, Tyler, Lucas, Jordan, Jahlay and Alec; and his five great-grandchildren, Zander, Mackayla, Dylan, Cole and Stella.
The family of Lawrence “Larry” Johnson have chosen cremation. They will hold a memorial service at a later date in Wisconsin. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
