Evelyn Wilson, 101, of J. Soyars Road, Russellville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at Auburn Health Care in Auburn. She was born in Franklin on Dec. 31, 1913 to the late Buford Byrum and Gertrude Herndon Byrum.
She was a homemaker, the oldest member of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ and an avid quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble P. Wilson, and her daughter, Wanda Leighton.
She is survived by her two sons, Bobby L. Wilson and wife Joyce andBilly G. Wilson and wife Wanda, both of Russellville; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and sis great-great-grandchildren
Private graveside services per Evelyn Wilson’s request will be held for the family. There will be no public visitation.
