Junior F. "Joe" Kitchen, 74, of Central City, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab in Greenville, Kentucky.He was born Friday, Aug. 26, 1949, the son of the late Joseph A. Kitchen and Ersley Brown Kitchen.

He was a factory worker at Goodyear for 17 years and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.

Joe honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps, was Chaplain of the Fraternal Order of Eagles- Chapter 3345, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 61.

Surviving are his brother, James "Tooter" Kitchen of Dunmor and his grandsons, Braxton Kitchen and Will Kitchen, both of Morgantown.

He was predeceased by son, Willie Kitchen, and his brother, Frederick Kitchen.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Stony Hildabrand officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
