Mike Scott, 72, of Adairville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024 at his home. He was born in Russellville on Sept. 28, 1951 to the late Robert Daniel Scott and Geraldine Wilson Scott. He worked construction and was a member of Adairville United Methodist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Scott and Danny Ray Scott; his sister, Cynthia Mitchell; and his great grandson, Treydan Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Melba Hester Scott; his sons, Dale Scott and Laurissa of Adairville and Derrick Scott and Ashley of Allensville; his daughters, Pam Thompson and Paula Thompson and Donald Cross, all of Adairville; his brother, Jeff Scott of Russellville; his sister, Lillian Branham of Adairville; his grandchildren, Joshua Stratton and Hannah, Tristan Stratton, Kinzi Cross, Dalton Thompson and fiancé Katie Rideout, and Aden Loyd and Joey Sapp; and his great-grandchildren, Joby Stratton, Lorelai Stratton and Kinslee Thompson.
Funeral services for Mike Scott will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Living Word Church in Adairville with Bro. Johnny Baldwin and Bro. Randy Hester officiating with burial to follow in Adairville’s Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation at Living Word Church will be held Monday, Feb. 26, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
