Connie Elizabeth Nash (Porter), 79, of Collierville, TN, passed away on January 14, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1944, in Lewisburg,. Connie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Connie never met a stranger and greeted everyone she met with a smile. She especially loved children and enjoyed her time working in the nursery at church where she was often referred to as "Ms. Mash" by the children. Her warm and caring nature touched the lives of those around her.

In addition to her work in the church nursery, Connie had a successful career. She worked her way up to Assistant Manager at Loehmann's and later worked for a Memphis law firm, Glankler Brown, before retiring. Connie's dedication and hard work were evident in her professional life.

Connie is survived by her two children: Cheryl A. Taylor and William R. Nash; and three grandchildren: Brittney L. Nash, Jordan A. Rickard, and Adam R. Nash. She was preceded in death by Rachel and A.C. Nuckols.

Connie attended Lewisburg High School and cherished her educational experiences there. She valued the importance of learning and personal growth.

Connie worshipped at Emmanuel United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church. Her faith was an integral part of her life and provided her with strength and guidance.

In her free time, Connie enjoyed coloring and playing solitaire. These hobbies brought her joy and relaxation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at Lewisburg Methodist Church on Friday, Feb. 16, from 1-3 p.m., with burial immediately following. The services will be a time to remember and honor Connie's life.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Dementia Research or Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 2404 Kirby Road, Memphis, TN 38119. Contributions made in Connie's memory will support causes that were important to her.

The Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg is assisting with the arrangements for Connie's passing.
