Shirley Kenner Perkerson, born April 30, 1945 to the late Helen K. Kennedy and John D. Kenner, passed away on Jan. 25, 2024 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was a retired florist and a member of the First General Baptist Church of Russellville.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Leland D. Kenner and Gary Kenner; and her son, Joseph Alder (Joey).
She is survived by her husband, Michael Perkerson; her daughters, Janie Lyons (Larry) of Russellville, Shelly Johnson (Skeeter)of Russellville, Melanie Williamson (Mark)of Dawson Springs and Susan Flicklin on Charlotte, Tenn.; her brothers, Jerry Kenner (Judy) of Lewisburg, Mark Kennedy (Shelia) of Russellville and Keith Kenner of Louisville; her sister, Sandy Taylor (Edward) of Russellville; her grandchildren; John Lyons (Reianna) of Russellville, Todd Alder (Dedra) of Russellville, Alex Powers of Dawson Springs, Devon Alder of Charlotte, Tyler Williamson of Clarksville, Sarah Jo Glover (Jordan) of Lewisburg, Joseph Morris of Tiptonville, Tenn, and Morgan McCary (Josh) of Bowling Green; and her 12 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
