Josie Mae Boatwright, 77, of Dunmor, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was born Tuesday, April 2, 1946, the daughter of the late James Smith and the late Addie Arnold Smith. She was the wife of the late Darrell Boatwright.
She was a housewife and a member of Beechcreek Pentecostal Mission Church.
Surviving are her son, Danny Boatwright of Dunmor; her grandsons, Tony Boatwright of Lewisburg, D J Boatwright of Dunmor and Jacob Boatwright of Dunmor; her great-grandson, Darrel Boatwright of Dunmor; her great-granddaughter, Savanna Boatwright of Dunmor; her sisters, Wanda Boatwright of Dunmor, Dorothy Gates of Browder, Goldie Millay of Dunmor and Sharon Berry of Greenville.
She was predeceased by her son, Steve Boatwright; her sisters, Clara Dunn and Naomi Saddler; and her brother, Charles Smith.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Hughes Cemetery in Dunmor with Willard Slaughter officiating.
