Lawrence “Larry” O. Isakson,79, of Russellville passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Opheim, Mon. on Nov. 11, 1944 to the late Oscar Isakson and Bella Thompson Isakson. He was a Shipping Coordinator at Logan Aluminum, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Russellville, and a Lay Pastor with the Western Kentucky Presbyterian Association. He served in the U.S Army.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Isakson; his sons, Lee Isakson and wife Natalie and Loren Isakson, all of Russellville; his sister, Susanne Isakson Stubbs of Washington state; and his granddaughters, Brooke Sisk and husband Nick of Allegre and Victoria Isakson of Russellville.
Memorial services for Lawrence “Larry” O. Isakson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, at the First Presbyterian Church in Russellville with Pastor Jim Snyder officiating. Visitation at the church will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
