Annette Wilkerson, 79, of Adairville, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, Tenn. She was a Mississippi native, born to the late Alonzo Clayton and Thelma Cooper Clayton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Adairville Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the South Logan Chamber of Commerce, the Red River Fish and Game Club, Logan County Public Library, and the Logan County Shrine Club. She served as a volunteer for Logan Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years ~ Jim Wilkerson; her daughter ~ Lori Johnson and husband, Van ~ of Fayetteville, Tenn.; her daughter-in-law ~ Carol Wilkerson ~ Adairville; her brother ~ Billy Clayton ~ New Albany, Miss.; her sister ~ Geneva Baird ~ Batesville, Miss.; and her six grandchildren.

Funeral services for Annette Wilkerson will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Adairville Baptist Church with Van Johnson, Bro. Carl Freudenthal and Bro. Keith Cook officiating with burial to follow in Trimble Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be held Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 4-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m.

Donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital in Lexington or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

Envelopes will be available at the church.
