Margaret Elizabeth Adams Celsor, 96, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at the home of her caregiver. She was born in Olmstead, on Dec. 9, 1926 to the late Raymond Benjamin Adams and Elsie Amanda Daniel Adams. She was a homemaker and member of the New Union Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and member of the Women’s Missionary Society. She was a former member of the Homemakers Club and a 1944 graduate of Olmstead High School and the Class Salutatorian.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Herndon Celsor, and son, Richard Lamont Celsor.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Celsor Scott and husband Buddy of Clarksville; her granddaughter, Christy Currence Scarbrough of Russellville; and her great-grandson, Nicholas Keith Scarbrough of Russellville.
Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Adams Celsor will be conducted at noon on Monday, Nov. 13, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating with burial to follow in Stevenson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation Monday at the funeral home will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
