Jerry D. Forgy, 79, of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville. He was born Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1944, the son of the late Walton Fairbanks Forgy and the late Lurlean DeArmond Forgy. He was the husband of Donna Forgy of Lewisburg, who survives.
He was a carpenter and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lewisburg. Jerry was an avid fisherman who loved his family.
Also surviving are his daughter, Janice A. Forgy of Lewisburg; his sister, Janice D. Forgy of Adairville; his brother, Vernice Forgy of Lewisburg; his grandson, Gabriel Forgy of Lewisburg; and his granddaughter, Ilana Duncan of Russellville.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Shackleford Epley and Avis Jean Richmond.
The family will be having a graveside service on Monday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Lewisburg Cemetery.
