Josephine Wright, 98, of Austin, formerly of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at her son's residence in Austin, Ky.
She was born Sunday, Feb. 22, 1925, the daughter of the late Roy Eddings and the late Mable Eddings. She was the wife of the late Howard Leslie Wright. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Joseph Wright (Tonya) of Austin; her sister, Gloria Poe of Louisville; and her brother, Myrl Eddings (Edna) of Mobile, Ala.
She was predeceased by her sister, Edna Mae Ramsey.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St, Lewisburg, with Bro. Larry Chapman and Bro. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
