Shirley Butler Goodwin, 92, of Monteagle, Tenn., formerly of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at her home in Monteagle. She was born in Elkton on Oct 10, 1930 to the late Dabny Clint Butler and Mayme Stokes Butler. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Goodwin.
She is survived by her sond, Dan Goodwin of Greenbrier, Tenn., John Goodwin of Conway, S.C. and Kerry Goodwin of Monteagle; and her grandchildren, John Andrew Goodwin, Sam Goodwin and Faye Goodwin.
A graveside service for Shirley Butler Goodwin will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. Larry Baker officiating. Visitation at First Christian Church will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
