Michael A. Pulsinelli, 64, of Knowlton Township, N.J. passed away on Sept. 17, 2023 at his home. Mike was born on July 15, 1959 in Phillipsburg, N.J. to the late Dominick Pulsinelli and Betty (nee; Bodine) Pulsinelli. Mike grew up in Washington and was a graduate of Warren Hills High School Class of 1977.

In 1980 Mike began his career as an Apprentice with Local 581 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He completed a four-year apprenticeship and performed on numerous jobs as journeyman, foreman and shop steward. Mike also served on the IBEW Local Union 581 Executive Board. In 1993 Local 102, 367 and 581 merged and Mike served on the Pension and Annuity Fund as Trustee for 10 years and continued to be an active participant on the Committee as a Business Agent. Mike also served on the Joint Apprentice and Training Committee for 10 years and was still active.

He was the head of the Safety Committee for Local 102 and a certified OSHA 5600 Trainer, 40 Hour Hazardous Waste, United States Department of Labor National Mine Health & Safety Trainer, and a representative for New Jersey State Safety Council Expo. He received an endorsement from National Safety Council Labor Award. He was the President of the Warren County Building Trades Council.

Mike served as the Chair of the Sergeant-At-Arms Committee at its New Jersey State AFL-CIO Legislative Conference. In addition, he was a part of the Mac Counsel, NJ Task Force for labor management, President of the CLC and very involved with helping out at the PAL Mike truly loved his job and union labor.

He enjoyed fishing and deep-sea fishing, especially his fishing trips in Costa Rica. Mike spent much of his time at his home in Manahawkin, crabbing, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed hunting. farming and gardening. Above all he loved his family and friends. He adored his children and grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. He has touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving children: his son, Michael Pulsinelli and his wife Amandalinn; his daughter, Rebecca Kirby and her husband Justin of Logan County; his grandchildren, Rylinn and Emmalinn Pulsinelli and Caiden, Gibson and Addison Kirby; his mother, Betty Pulsinelli; his sister, Michelle Profita and her husband Russell and his longtime companion Lorenzina Snell; and many extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dominick Pulsinelli and his sister, Connie Eva.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, Sept. 23, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Road, Washington, NJ 07882. A service celebrating Mike's life will begin at 4 p.m. in the church.
