Betsy L. Farrant, 74. of Russellville, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, Ky. She was born in Detroit on Jan. 15, 1949 to the late Thomas Leo Farrant and Daisy Mae Farrant.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Ray Rager and her sons, Walton Randy Rager and Michael Thomas Rager.
She is survived by her son, John Matthews and wife Colleen of Russellville; her daughter, Shelia Rager of Hopkinsville; her sister, June Farrant of Indiana; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family of Betsy L. Farrant chose cremation and there will be no services at this time.
Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
