Linnie Maybelle Whittinghill, 82, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Auburn Healthcare in Auburn. She was born Sept. 1, 1940, to the late James Green Lawson and Floretta (Smith) Lawson.
She is also preceded in death by her children, Amy Joyce Baskerville, James ‘Robert” Baskerville, Randy Lee Baskerville, Rita Joyce Baskerville, and Stevie Eugene Baskerville; her sister, Joyce Faye Robertson; her brothers, James Lyle Lawson, Arvle Lee Lawson, and Marvle Lee Lawson.
Linnie is survived by her sons, Johnny Marvin Baskerville (Betty) of Elkton and Tracy Green Baskerville, Ty Allen Baskerville, and Henry Wilson Baskerville (Kitty), all of Russellville; her daughters, Brenda Sue Watkins (Steve) and Lisa Diane West (Elvis), all of Russellville; her sisters, Bert Marie Kirkman (Barry) and Sue Carolyn Daugherty (Dennis), all of Russellvillel her sisters-in-law; Elaine Lawson, May Lawson, and Margaret Lawson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linnie was of the Baptist faith and loved her family and cooking for them.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. with Bro. Raymond Oliver officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Colten Tooley, Adrian Baskerville, Conley Baskerville, Greg Lee, John Rager, Sean Daugherty, and James Baskerville Jr.
