Lula Muriel Scarbrough, 91, of Dunmor, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab in Greenville.
She was born Monday, July 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Clyde Wood and the late Virgie Latham. She was the wife of the late Ray Scarbrough.
She was a housewife and a member of Rosewood United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Douglas of Dunmor and Sharon Watkins (Tony) of Lewisburg; her brother, David Wood of Clarksville Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and her three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harvey Wood and her sisters, Virginia Wallace and Laura Corley.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Junior Deason officiating. Interment will be at Rosewood United Methodist Church Cemetery.
There will be a visitation at 4-8 p.m. on Monday, March 27, at Price Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
