Marecia Jean Skipworth, 39, of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the University of Louisville Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born Thursday, March 8, 1984, the daughter of the late Quinton Skipworth and Barbara Skipworth, of Lewisburg, who survives.
She was a CNA at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab and a caregiver to her mother. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bucksville.
Also surviving are her sister, Ashley Skipworth (Joe) of Lewisburg; her brother, Jay Skipworth (Brittany) of Russellville; her adopted sisters, Delaina Skipworth of Lewisburg and Lisa DeWeese of Indiana ; her adopted brothers, Kent LaGrone of Auburn, Jonathan Whitmon of Lewisburg and Joseph Whitmon of Lewisburg; her nieces, Jaycee Skipworth of Lewisburg and Raven Boggs, Haley Boggs, Paisley Boggs and Lilah Boggs, all of Russellville; and her nephews, Braydon Boggs and Jeremiah Boggs both of Russellville.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 14, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Jonathan Skipworth and Bro. Tony Blake officiating. Interment will be at Lewisburg Cemetery.
There will be a visitation on Monday, March 13, starting at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
