James William Biggs Sr., 77, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 at his home. He was born in Nashville on Nov. 16, 1945 to the late Claude William Biggs Jr. and Vernie Ashworth Biggs. He was a mechanic with Snap On Tools, was a Navy Veteran and a graduate of ITT Institute.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Young Biggs, and twin grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, James William “Corky” Biggs Jr. and Sheila, Micah Craig “Monkey” Biggs and Shannon Rena, Ronald Dale Mlller, and Richard Clark Hayes and Leanne, all of Russellville; his daughter, Crystal Ann Biggs Birdwell and Alan of Rogersville, Ala.; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
James William Biggs Sr.’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services held at this time.
