Dorothy "Dot" Mae DeArmond, 93, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at her home in Lewisburg. She was born Saturday, Oct. 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Ernest Smith and the late Margaret Shockley Smith. She was the wife of Raymond Ward DeArmond. She was a homemaker and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Lewisburg Homemakers.
Surviving are his daughters, Carol Tande (John) of New Carlisle, Ohio, Theresa DeArmond (David) of Decatur, Ind. and Vicki Hetrick (Mark) of Perrysburg, Ohio; her sons, Joe DeArmond (Lavina) of Louisiana, John DeArmond (JoAnn) of Lewisburg, Ray DeArmond (Bonnie) of Russellville and Steve DeArmond (Charlotte) of Russellville; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hershey Smith and Walt Smith, and her granddaughter, Nicki Keelean.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Darrin Pentecost and Bro. David Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home. Visitation will also be after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
