Neltine L. Burnett, 88, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at ger residence in Lewisburg. She was born Saturday, June 2, 1934, the daughter of the late Clay McElwain and the late Viola Blake McElwain. She was the wife of Gene Burnett of Lewisburg, who survives.
She was a Branch Manager for First Southern National Bank and a member of Horton Chapel Church of Christ.
Also surviving are her niece, Pam Young of Toledo, Ohio, and her nephews, Ray McElwain of Toledo and Jim Webb of Denton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond McElwain and Shirley McElwain, and her sister, Louise Webb.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Jim Webb officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
