Barry Piper, 6,1 of Olmstead, passed Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Aug. 29, 1961 to the late Henry Beverly Piper Jr. and Nancy Berry Woodson. He worked for Ventra Plastics, was a farmer and was a member of the Southern Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his step-mother, Shelby Piper of Russellville; his brother, Bradley Piper and wife Kay of Olmstead; his step-brother, Tim Smith of Bowling Green; and his step-sisters, Shelly Dillard and husband Bob of Bowling Green and Kelly Steenbergen and husband Ronnie of Russellville.
Funeral services for Barry Piper will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation Thursday will be held from noon until the service hour.
Memorial Donations may be made to Red Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
