John Edwin Delk, 76, of Auburn, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born June 25, 1946 to the late Fred and Maddie (Gilliam) Delk. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Delk.
John grew up on the Delk farm in Dot. John was a member of the New Union Baptist Church and worked as a forklift driver for many years.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Lynn Delk of Glasgow; his daughters, Betty Ann Heldt of Auburn and Angela Renee Perkins of Russellville; his granddaughter, Winter Delk of Denver; his grandson, Johnny William Wright of Gordonsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 7 from noon to 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m., officiated by Bro. Donnie Blick at New Union Baptist Church.
