Dorothy Appling Belcher, 93, of Russellville passed away at Logan Memorial Hospital on Sunday Aug. 7, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Buster amd Dovie (Woodard) DeBerry. Dorothy was a Deputy Jailer for many years, loved playing cards, cooking, talking, and shopping. Dorothy was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Ann Hendricks of Franklin, Margie Louise Britt (Charles) of Auburn and Judith Carol Anglin of MacAllen, Texas; her son, Ricky Appling Sr. (Patricia) of Russellville; her grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, James DeBerry and Kenneth DeBerry; and her sister, Mary Katherine Browning.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 pm. in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro. Gary Chapman officiating with burial to follow in Auburn Cemetery.
