David L. Hurt, 63, of Daysville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. He was born Dec. 26, 1958 in Hopkinsville to the late Charlie Hurt and Arlene Wheeler McIntosh. He was a maintenance supervisor with the Kentucky State Road Department in Russellville. He attended The Point Church and was a past President of the Hilltop Rodder Street Rod Association.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Becky Hurt; his daughters, Amanda Lynne Hurt of Olmstead and Alice Marie Gunter and husband Bryan of Charlotte, Tenn.; her brother, Charles Thomas Hurt and wife Nancy of Daysville; her sister, Darlene Taylor of Elkton; like-a-son, Jordan Latham of Daysville; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Jones and husband Dalton of Vanleer, Tenn., Cathryn Gunter of Cookeville, Tenn. and Maddox Kellet of Olmstead; her great-grandson, Christopher Jones of
A Celebration of Life for David L. Hurt will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, May 7, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Jackson officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
