R. Nell Pearson, 94, of Russellville, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at her home. She was born in Ebenezer, Ky. on Nov. 27, 1927 to the late Daniel Benjamin Epley and Goldie Marie White Epley. She was a housewife and cook for Russellville Nursing Home and Colonial Inn for many years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Franklin Pearson, and her son, Billy Pearson.
She is survived by her son, Timmy Pearson and wife Penny of Olmstead; her daughter, Phyllis Wright of Olmstead; her daughter-in-law, Connie Pearson of Russellville; her sister, Faye Head of Russellville; her grandchildren, Kateland Brindley and husband Carl of Paducah, Julie Pearson of Olmstead, and Bethany Ann Bagby and husband Morgan of Lewisburg; and her great-grandchildren, Sarah and Abby Brindley of Paducah.
Funeral services for R. Nell Pearson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at Russellville Pentecostal Church with Bro. Scott Marshall officiating with burial to follow in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
