Velma Ilene Baugh, 89, of Dunmor, died on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
She was born Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1932, in Quality, the daughter of the late Leslie Staples and the late Ethel Porter Staples. She was the wife of the late Hulet Baugh.
She was a retired waitress from Lake Malone Inn, a dedicated Christian, and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Gaylen Baugh (Shelia) of Russellville; her daughter, Connie Hardison (David) of Lewisburg; her brother, Harold Staples of Dunmor; her grandchildren, Leslie Grise and Allison Bryson, both of Franklin; her step-grandchild, Brittany Dorris of Russellville; four great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Delbert Staples, and her sisters, Pauline Jenkins, Vivian Staples, Mildred Gibson, Hazel Woodlee and Clara White.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Ky. 42256 with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, Jan. 7, at Price Funeral Home.
