The family of Carole Alice Lemons Wyrick would like to let her family and friends know that God called her home on October 27, 2021. She was born on Nov. 4, 1941 in Cynthiana to Garnett and Frances Lemons. Carole was the most wonderful mother, best friend, and nurturer that any child, friend or animal could ask for. Carole was a life-long member of Cynthiana Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Garnett Demaree and Virginia Frances Daly Lemons; her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Lula Lemons; her maternal grandparents, John and Emma Daly; her husband, Eugene Wyrick; her sister, Kaye Lemons Hamm; her grandson, Wade Lemons; her daughter-in-law, Doris Lemons; her brother-in-law, Richard Navarre; and her special friend, Stanley Whitley.

Carole was the owner and operator of a local commercial & residential cleaning service for many years and was one of the original founders of the Harrison County Humane Society. She was a devoted animal rescuer/advocate her entire life, bordering on warrior/militant status.

Carole is survived by her children, Anthony Demaree Lemons (Nancy Enright) of West Sunbury, Penn., Glen Douglas Jones (Angela) of Rockfield, Stacey Michelle Courtney (Jeff) of Cynthiana, and Brandon Scott Wyrick (Felicia) of Russellville, Corky Cooper of Cynthiana, Suzie Barnes of Cynthiana, and Matt Cooper of Cynthiana. She is survived by her sister, Linda Garnett Navarre of Cynthiana, and her cousin, Jo Ann Cress (Earl) of Shawnee Mission, Kan.

Carole is survived by her grandchildren, Regina Carole (Beaner) Jones, Zachery Douglas Jones, Dustin Wagoner, Jacob Wagoner, Cody Cole, Tyler Rivero, Ally Wyrick and  Alexis Courtney.

Carole is survived by her great-grandchildren, Noah Lemons, Bryson Lemons, Demi Lemons, Iszac Jones, Max Jones, Lucy Jones, Ashlynn Wagner, Ashton Hesler, Caydence Canafax, Taylor Lukins, Zander Wagoner, Arianna Smith, Rylan Courtney and Camdyn Canafax.

Carole is survived by four great-great-grandchildren, Sebashten Douglas Jones, Kaisley Grace Lemons, Harrison Wade Lemons & Xavier Holden.

Carole is survived by some very special friends, Felix and Doris Reeves, Donnie and Marsha Holland, Margaret Masterson, and Phyllis Ciaccio.
