Larry Morgan, age 81 of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Dec. 1, 1939 to the late Edward Morgan and Ina Williams Morgan. He was the assistant chief for the Russellville City Fire Department and member of New Vision Community Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Suzzie Graham Morgan; his step-sons, Jason Gilliam and Kenny Basham, both of Auburn; his daughter, Angie Morgan and fiance Steve of Auburn; his step-daughter, Juanita Williams of Auburn; his brother, Bill Morgan of Virginia Beach; and his sisters, Ellen White of Franklin, Margaret Bagwell of Hixson, Tenn. and Helen Freas of El Paso, Texas. 

Visitation for Larry Morgan will be held Thursday, June 3, from 5-7 p.m. at Summers and Son Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Russellville Memorial Gardens at a later time with Bro. Brad Rogers officiating. 

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
