Ray Middleton, 87, of Springfield, formerly of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield. He was a Logan County native, born Oct. 30, 1933 to the late Clarence Woodson Middleton and Tiny Mae Williams Middleton. He was a self-employed mason.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Estel Middleton, Ernie Middleton, Jewel Middleton and Jess Hayden Middleton, and his sisters, Ruth L. Middleton Hale and Dorothy Lee Middleton Bailey.
He is survived by his brothers, Rev. Dennis Middleton and wife Polly of Louisville, Rev. Carl Middleton of Louisville, and Fred Middleton and wife Rebecca of Springfield.
Funeral services for Ray Middleton will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
