Steve Stranger, 68, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native, born July 23, 1952 to the late Frances Gainous. He worked for Carpenter Co. for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Stranger; his sons, Casey Stranger and wife Amanda and Tracey Stranger and wife Dana, all of Russellville; his daughter, Stacy Harris and husband Jack of Russellville; his sister, Judy Creek and husband Dave of Adairville; and 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannie Kennedy.
Funeral services for Steve Stranger will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Chapman officiating and burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. There will be a walk-through visitation on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Please observe CDC guidelines of 6 feet distancing and wearing of face coverings.
