Coleman Sanford, 92, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native, born June 5, 1928 to the late Willie Sanford and Mary Frances Mullen Sanford. He was a farmer and member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Virginia Ann Sanford; his sons, William Coleman Sanford and wife Cheryl of Russellville, John Royce Sanford and wife Sherry of Russellville and Russell Todd Sanford of Akron, Ohio; his daughters, Patricia Ann Fuller and husband Calvin of Auburn, Bobbie Lynn Sanford of Auburn and Kathy Joe Meacham and husband Stanley of Auburn; his brother, James Robert Sanford of Russellville; and 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Coleman Sanford will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Russellville Memorial Gardens.
