Livingston Kees, age 95, of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Logan Memorial Hospital. Livingston was born November 30, 1924 to the late Goebel Kees and Nellie Morgan Kees. He was a lifelong resident of Logan County and a retired farmer who especially loved animals. Livingston was a lifelong member of the Berea Christian Church where he served as deacon, Board Chairman and was currently serving as an elder of the congregation. Over the years he has been active in various community organizations and been a supporter of community activities.Livingston Kees, 95, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 at Logan Memorial Hospital. Over the years he has been active in various community organizations and been a supporter of community activities.

Livingston is survived by his wife of 71 years, Esther Bush Kees; his children, Nancy Kees Golden and Paul of Dallas and Carolyn Kees Baker and Larry and John Kees and Carol, all of Russellville; eight grandchildren, eleven  great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and his brother-in-law, Ed Bush of Russellville.

Due to the latest governor’s mandate, a private funeral service will be conducted at Summers and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Dan Lovell officiating with burial to follow in the Berea Church Cemetery.  

Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
