Billy Joe Clayton, 54, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was a Logan County native, born July 4, 1966 to Lee Raymond Clayton and Mary Elizabeth Clayton. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Clayton of Russellville; his wife, Ruby N. Edmonds; his son, Bradley Clayton of Elkton; his brothers, Bobby Clayton of Auburn and Raymond and Tommy Clayton, both of Russellville; and his sister, Linda Sydnor of Russelville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ray Clayton.
Due to the governor’s mandate, a private memorial service will be held for Billy Joe Clayton at Summers and Son Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the America Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
