Vera Ellen Wood, 59 of Lewisburg died on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was born Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1955 in Louisville, the daughter of the late James Blackford and the late Leona Roden Blackford. She was the wife of the late Audley Wood. She was a Restorative Aide at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
Surviving are her son, Jason Wood of Russellville; her daughters, Jessica Wood, Maria Lawson and Tracey Shifflett, all of Russellville; her brother, Roger Roden of Louisville; her sister, Sandra Blandford of Louisville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by sisters, Tammy Harris and Georgia Whobrey.
A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Rev. Travis Bryan officiating.
The family will receive friends after noon on Sunday, Nov. 9, at Price Funeral Home.
