Donald Gerry Hooper, 60, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 at his home. He was born in Russellville, on June 26, 1960 to the late Donald and Joyce Westray Hooper. He was employed by Darpro in Fleet Maintenance. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and also loved to farm.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Sandlin Hooper; his sons, Chad Hooper of Lewisburg and Bryant Hooper of Russellville; his daughter, Enjoli Marshall and Raymond of Auburn; his brother, Timmy Hooper of Auburn; his sister, Sherry Pearson and Randall of Russellville; his grandchildren, Conner Vance, Landy Sadler, Sawyer Marshall and Mariah Marshall and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Donald Gerry Hooper will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Summers and Son Funeral home with Bro. Carmel Hoskins and Bro Tony McCalister officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. A Walk Through Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
